So a lot of stuff is going on within my family. Kellie gets married in July and I'm doing the invitations and helping with other things. Michelle is doing really stupid things and Mia is now living with her grandparents and Rick is back in jail... again.

All the stress and worry is driving me slowly mad and sapping away much of my creative streak. I'll still probably be around and looking at new stuff of people I'm watching but I probably won't get up anything new this month, although I will try.

I'm back from Victoria. The concert went really well. All the pictures I took are up on my account. Most are scraps but some of the pictures I took at Butchart Gardens are deviations. Hope everyone likes them.

So today I had no money with which to get my mum a gift. As usual we went over to my grandma's house to celebrate: my aunt and her 3 girls, grandma, grandpa, uncle doug (who lives with the grandparents due to his disability), my mum, brother and I. My dad couldn't be there because he was flying to Utah to attend his aunt's funeral on monday.

I did most of the cooking, my mum helped since my brother wouldn't get off his butt to do anything of importance. I think the only thing he did was get out four glasses and then pour orange juice into them. So naturally that left me with a little help from mum (who wasn't supposed to be doing anything). I cooked 36 sausages (my brother consumed like 12 by himself), different combinations of eggs (like ham and cheese, just w/ cheese or just w/ ham) hashbrowns and hot chocolate. Thankfully Erica was a dear and made blueberry muffins at her house.

Then I came home and washed my mum's car. While I was washing my mum's car my dog was let outside and then I thought she was just going to the bathroom and was let back inside. Came in, no dog. So went back out and saw no dog. Went out back and Pup was sunning herself! Not napping in the sun, but sunning herself as though she could get a tan or something. She was on a towel that had been spread out on the picnic table. Pup is just strange.

I am writing so mcuh its crazy. Mostly short little drabble things, but it feels nice to be writing again and not have any writers block.

Canada trip is in about a week. I'm so excited to be going and playing the weekend concert this year. I also get to spend the weekend with my cousin Kellie so I know that it will be lots of fun. The spring concert will be our most challenging yet because of all the difficult pieces we're playing.

I'm making various little sketches too and messing around with some pastels. I'm hoping to have the pastel piece finished by next week but I'm not sure if I'll be able to put it up before I head up to Canada. I'll try though...
